inexpensive sunvisor replacements??

Where's the most inexpensive place to get replacement sun visors made??

Mine are trashed, and the spring loaded arms don't hold them up very well.
Not sure if I need new mounts or how to remedy this problem??

They keep falling down when I put them up.
What will I need to fix this part ?? I found these, but not sure.

I'm getting ready to send mine in to Vinyl Specilaties to be covered, or you can buy them new from them complete for less than 60 bucks a set.
Vista Cruisers have four sunvisors.

Those are the deals you need to tighten up the ends.

IMHO

Many upholstery places can't recover them because of their thickness. The machines can sew the edging on. I've had goo luck finding used ones from various parts suppliers.

Thanks,

I ordered those connectors to stiffen them up and I wasn't aware Vinyl Specialties restored them. I'm going to call to find out when I can send mine in. Thanks again.

I just paid $89 for a set from The Parts Place. Didn't realise the passenger one had the holes in it for the clip-in vanity mirror. The mirror was another $32. New bushes for both ends are $5 for the set.
Cheaper than Fusicks I guess and the quality is excellent, but not as good as $60.

Yeah I'm local to The Parts Place and I get almost all my parts there.

I just didn't think it was worth $90.
So I wanted to see options.

I got new black vinyl one's for my 78 Camaro for under $50 IIRC.

That's a good price. I actually had autosunvisors.com saved in my favorites from back when I was doing up the Road Runner but forget about them. I'm actually really happy with The Parts Place though. They've got just about everything, prices are reasonable across the majority of products and their service when dealing remotely is excellent. Ordered today, posted tomorrow & down here in a week & a half. Can't complain. You guys are so lucky having an Olds parts place around the corner.
