Can this be shimmed to line up better? The frame got wacked a while ago so everything is a bit off. I have the front clip off currently. I'm hoping to get it back together and lined up a bit.

You've got a lot going on there with the bumper, fender and hood. It all needs tending to in order to get a better alignment.

 

Do you think I can shim things or is it going to be obvious (tweaked frame)?

 

I'm going to say no because structurally it's too high, shims will make it higher.

 

I'm afraid you right....I was hoping otherwise.

 

What if I shim the core support a bit?

I would recommend taking the car into a frame alignment shop and having it corrected. I had a similar situation and it was easily the best $549 spent on the car.
