Body off frame

My project has been stalled for 6 years. My buddy who started it lost interest do I made an appointment at a body shop to get this moving again. I want to clean thw frame up and into paint
I have remove all the body mount bolts (what a PITA). 2 of them i had some difficulty with. Right now I just have 4x4 pieces between the frame and body. I would like to lift the body and support it with a 4x4 across the front and rear. Will the pinch welds at the bottom of the rockers support the weight of the body without damaging it.

I put my supports under where the body bolts to the frame, although I see a lot of guys put boards from one side to the other and then roll the frame out, I am guessing if you used a wide enough board you should be ok temporarily, but who knows what condition the pinchwelds are in? I myself would leave it jacked up on them, but I am sure others will chime in

When I took the body of my convertible I stored it on 4x4’s on jack stands. The 4x4’s had a one inch slot cut down the middle to make it U shaped. The pinch weld sat inside that slot which allowed the rocker to sit flat on the 4x4.

That basically how I did it, except my groove was wider and in the center of a 4x4 and I used jack stands because I didn’t have that many jacks.
