Not a bad start, outside of the one body repair seems pretty nice.

I also have a 69 442 and will be following you with the build. Good luck and keep the photos and updates coming.

ok More picture of the 1990 restore that went wrong. A couple of late nights getting the trans fixed. I also have required fuel injection. Accel DFI from craigs list. The kit comes with an offenhouser PortOsonic intake with fuel injectors. I have to clean underneath the car and straighten ALOT of thing out. Later I will go with a coil over system. Just going to try to get this on the road for summer.

Just one more picture. I just don't know where to start on this project yet.

It looks like a typical car with mods from the 70's/80's. I believe back then none of us really considered the consequences of our efforts or the future use of the car, let alone still owning it. It's a small minority of people that keep a car as long as you.

I'd start with the safety and operational items first, get the tailpipes over where they belong. Make it a driving project.

That is what I am trying to do make it drivable/safe. The roll bar is coming out of it.
I am thinking when it gets back home that I put it on jack stands and clean and paint.

Pull the motor, clean and paint, fix all the potential problems. Later I still like the speedometer and tach. But will likely put in aftermarket gauges, Including a quad gauge for the vitals.
