I have been hoping to meet the owner of this car to ask him about the fender well headers. Im going to build simulate theme car except no strait axle. I will use 2" lift ball joints and a coil over spring to gain some height in the front. Not the same but it will have the same stance.
Tunnel ram for me and some zoomie pipes out back.
I love the look of this car but im going flat black hot rod paint.
Thanks Nathan

The induction system is critical in my opinion. It sets the tone of the build.

I know some people just build it for the looks but keep this in mind. The GM A body has one of the most capable factory 4 link suspensions for drag racing without altering the mounting points. I love the look on a 50's car but I just seems odd on a post 50's platform. I know people did it during the street machine period in the 70's for a street freak thing but.... id rather stick mags on it and do a psychedelic paint job. im curious to see how tall it sits with 2 inch taller ball joints. I run 1 inch taller ball joints to allow for the desired suspension travel upon launch at the track. I bought road racing control arms that where short on travel unknowingly.

I went for the whole 70's theme on mine. Most of the engine has period correct parts too.
