Are you really going to put that deck wing on? Just asking because none of the CS models got a deck wing from the factory. It could be dealer added though but IMO it just doesn't suit the lines of the CS. Ducking for cover now....

Lol I know I know , but I always love the look of it . If I get tired it can be takin off and trunk repaired . I'm not building this car to make anyone happy other than myself and family as they are playing a big role. I just knew I was goin to catch some sh!+ over that . I'm sure befor its done there will be other things that the older pure olds ( keep it orig) guys won't like about it but that's ok..... It's mine and being brought back to life after 25 years of neglect.
Allan to be honest I was back and fourth about it , but I think it looks good

No worries. I wasn't really bustin on ya. Ever think about getting another deck lid (not really that expensive) and mounting the wing on it? If you want to change it over on whim, 4 bolts and it's a stock car again. BTW, nice job on the paint - especially for a garage job. Any small runs or blems you can likely wet sand and polish to a mirror finish. It is BC/CC right?

Oh yes , PPG BC/CC. Too much work done here to skimp on materials . This guy takes alot of pride in his work , and stands behind it all .
I tell ya , I'm just as excited as I don't know what about the color . I've not actually seen a car this color in person. We did a test sample ofcourse but I'm sure it looks way different when you see the whole car that color.
Next comes laying out the stripes . Good thing I've got the assymbly Manuel , it shows just about everything except location of 442 numbers on trunk lid. Any ideas on that?

Yup, it came up on a thread here recently. If you get in touch with Eric (Jensenracing77) he has templates for both side and deck lid numbers. I don't know if that takes into account the differences between CS vert and fastback models. The deck lids on the CS is different than the model 87/77

The color on your car - is it code 81 Bamboo?
