1970 Cutlass Supreme

This is my first car, I'm 18 and plan to restore this car and hopefully hold onto it for awhile. I found this site and was finding a lot of help when working on my car. I bought a 1970 cutlass supreme supreme with the shifter on the floor (I thought was pretty cool). Interior is pretty much all stock. It has a 350 4 barrel stock exhaust and some rust. Here's some pictures.

Welcome, looks nice. It's always nice to get some of the younger guys/gals involved in the hobby.

Welcome to C.O. Looks nice from one 70 CS owner to another! Thanks for the cowl tag and pictures. Looks like it was born in twilight blue with a blue vinyl top. Also it might have had a front end mishap, given the 71-72 front bumper and the hood appears to be a 70 non CS hood! CS have hoods are more flat with a stainless trim running down the center line of the hood.

Thanks for the information guys ya the bumper was a little low in one corner and one fender looked a little tweeked. The frame didn't looked damaged at all. So it should all be fixable and thanks for the information on the bumper and hood I did not know that. Also the thanks for the info on the cowl tag I dont know anything about that.

When I bought the car they gave me door keys the passenger door I have never been able to unlock expect from the inside. Now for some reason my driver door has stopped working to. So I bought new locks to put on when I replace my mirrors.

Since you have the door panels off, take a look at the locking linkage. Bet that a clip or 2 broke and now there's a couple rods hanging loose. As far as the mirrors, they're held on with nuts inside the door. Be careful, the sheet metal around those openings are kinda sharp

Then my next big step is getting the ac fan and heater working. The blower motor doesn't even come on right now. Anybody know where I should start. Thanks I really need help I dont know where to start with the ac and heater.

I replaced all the rollers all the windows work good now. Working on the heater and ac stuff right now. I want to put in a new exhaust system. It has a 350 motor with the stock single exhaust. I want to put a new dual exhaust system on it and need some help on deciding which on. I was first looking at flowmasters but have seen many people say they dont recommend them so now I was wondering what about magnaflows. Also need to know what all I need for the entire system I need the exhaust and do I need downpipes.
