1969 cutlass Convertible Resto

Not Sure how to organize all this, I have a differential thread and a Motor thread LOL.. but wanted to share some of the work that was done on the car more then 10 years ago, it has been in the garage ever since and with encouragement from you guys, I have begun to get the project back on track...

The body has been lifted from the frame and the entire frame was wire wheeled to bare metal, then por-15'd then when the por 15 was still slightly tacky I sprayed GM restoration Black over it to give the right semigloss appearance. Anyway I have previously redone the entire front end with stock type bushings new springs from PST for a 455, I am now going to be changing over to 4 wheel disc brakes but previously I did the backing plates and drums etc for the 4 wheel drums. I also wire wheeled the floor which wasd actually in pretty good shape, welded new metal and repaired the "hole" for the 4 speed shifter which looked like the guy used a sawzall to increase the clearance? and por-15'd the floors

pics will tell the rest but just to show what I am dealing with here is some of the work that has been done already This is a BIG elephant LOL

Firewall..

was basically in excellent shape, some welding and grinding of non factory holes where aux gauges were routed by the previous owner, was stripped to bare metal, etch primed and painted with GM resto Black

I have a new booster etc from the brake kit, I'll store away all the stuff from the original set up, in case I ever sell the car and the new owner wants to return to original

Looking at the conversion, I relaized I had already changed all the front brake lines to stainless steel ones, they never had fluid in them, and now I will be replacing them with New Stainless steel ones for the disk brakes GRRRRRRRR these weren't that cheap...

so that is where I am at will keep you guys posted
