I spot some 'ring in' bits lol.
Also 98 Tail lights
Chroming is pricey but makes a world of difference !

yes a year

i even ordered them with stainless trim, they said they could make them for $200 extra without any notice they shipped them out without the trim

then when i asked them where the trim was, there reply was that they looked better without and said they had a lot of extra work on them
and it took a while before i got a refund.....

now i started on making my own trim , because i went for the 98 style interior
and only have the trim form a super 88

i am using 1/4'' stainles steel tubing and rolled them almost flat
and bend them in shape , next will be drilling small holes on the back
and adding studs and polish

also pulled the body from the frame after test fitting all the sheetmetal
and raw body work,

thanks

here the body in primer

sand it all down then shot it all in a pre-color in gloss, this makes it easier to see if all imperfection are gone.
now ready for a final black primer, then wet sand this and then ready for final base coat clear coat.

Sweet, you really have to appreciate the lines of those cars. Too bad the automobile is not an art form any more.

last week i got the engine running for the first time since rebuild
it fired right up after it got fuel in the carb.

had some small leakage on the fuel line from the pump to carb and find out i forget to tighten the oil presure switch at the oil filter
other than that all went real smooth and runs realy well

still needed to blead the brake system so could not test the transmission

this saturday we had nice and mild weather (no snow for us yet)
and since i have the engine running it was time to see if the transmission worked , well it rolled out and back in the garage on its own power
still have to adjust the brakes before i can drive it a little to see if it will shift properly.

also discovered a few issues to overcome, the powersteering and generator do not work yet
