The 1970-72 are way easier than the 1968-69. First the panel around the three pods with the woodgrain applique has two phillps screws that go up into the pad area in front of the pods, and two more underneath the panel, one near the wiper switch and the other I believe the other side of the steering column. Once you remove those four screws you should be able to tilt the panel and remove it. Then you will see small fasteners holding the pods to the plastic dash panel. They take a 1/4" socket to remove. Note that some go to ground straps so when reassembling be sure to attach the ground straps. Once these fasterners are removed you can lift and pull the pod out toward you. The speedometer head will need the speedo cable removed, the others will just have wiring plugs. Gently pry/pull on the wide flat plugs as it's easy to pull the pins off the pod if your not careful. The speedometer cable has a clip that you need to depress, then you can pull the cable housing off. Should be easy but if you run into problems post again. John
