Looking for ideas for a good place to mount after market gauges, oil pressure and temp. I do have the under-dash AC duct work. 1970 Cutlass Supreme it just has indicator lights at the time.
I have Stewart warner Greenline mechanical guages mounted on the steering column. They look very similar to the factory guages and, to me, feels like a vintage placement.
There's a board member who makes these under-dash panels patterned essentially after the 8-track enclosures - he can make them in 3- and 4-gauge length sizes.
You only have to trim out the center section out of your underdash a/c panel to retrofit the panel between the 2 remaining side sections and the gauge panel bolts right up to the underside of the dash. He can trim the panel out in OEM woodgrain to match the year of your car.
