Has anyone tried to recreate the plastic washer that's on the pin on the later (e.g. '72) shoulder belts? It's what keeps the shoulder belt clipped into the retractable lap belt and stops it from rattling, This is the style where the shoulder belt clips into the lap belt first, then they both clip into the receiver - rather than the separate belts. Mine have broken off. My best guess is trying to melt a zip tie around the pin.
