1973 Cutlass — How do I remove the radio?

1973, not 1963. I am trying to replace my factory AM unit with another factory AM-FM unit, but I’ve been looking everywhere in here for screws or nuts to get this radio out, and can’t find anything. I have the ***** off and that’s it. This has me stumped.

Can anyone walk me through the radio removal process?

You should have 5/8 in. shaft nuts behind the ***** that hold the radio to the dash. There should also be a rear support brace that is attached to the side or rear of the radio and the u-channel of the dash with either a 5/16 or 9/32 screw.

Unplug the antenna, unplug the power and speaker plugs. Unbolt the support brace. Remove the shaft nuts. Gently remove the radio from the back side of the dash. Reverse the process to re-install the new radio.

Here's the radio removal instructions and accompanying diagram from the 1973 Olds Chassis Service Manual.
