Remove 1973 88 Front Seat?

Trouble removing the front seat from a 1973 delta 88 conv. The bolts at the front of the seat tracks, and at the rear of the tracks came out fine, but there is one in the middle of each track (kind of loose already) that I can't get to from under the seat. Do I need to disassemble the seat somehow? Is there a trick? Thanks.

Bolts in the middle? Hmmm. I don't recall that but never worked on a '73 Delta either. Have you tried to get at it with a box wrench? Or maybe re-connecting the front and back bolts and moving the seat all the way back or all the way forward and removing the middle one first? Just some ideas.

It seems strange to me also. Power seat isn't working, I can't move it back and forth. Thanks for the ideas, I can barely touch the head of the bolt on the passenger side, and haven't been able to on the driver side, so getting anything on it seems unlikely.

If all else fails crawl underneath and drill them out. I'm pretty sure just 4 bolts will be fine for your seat. I assume you will not be crashing this Delta into walls or demolition derbying it.

"Speed holes" I think is the proper term.

And if you're out west where everything in the boneyards is nice, I'm sure there's plenty of ''practice'' vehicles.

Oh, so the power seat doesn't work, that is probably why you are wanting to remove it, to repair or replace it. I see. That IS a tough one then.

Thanks for the ideas, I got the power seat working, and once moved forward all the way was able to get the seat out. More rust through than I was expecting.
