Dunno if I shared this with the group...

Greetings to all ye Oldsmobilers!

I recently scooped up a nicer console for my '72 Supreme than the 5 dollar plastic unit I had before, and thought I'd post a couple pics

Happy Oldsmobiling 😀

Very nice, however my cup holder sits in the passenger seat and that would put her out of a job.

Question on your three pack gauge set - I’m getting ready to install mine as well and have the same underdash a/c set up - did you drill holes in it to support the gauges or is there something else goin on there? (I just don’t want to irreversibly change something if I don’t have to) thanks

A PO had drilled holes in the valance for an aftermarket CD player, so since the damage was already done, I just drilled a couple more and used screws to mount the gauges. I get your concern about not wanting to wreck yours, so maybe some 3M double stick tape?

Thank you for your response - makes sense - I might try the 3M - that or I was thinking of fabricating a holder that could mount to the gauges then to the underdash using one pre existing valance hole - still getting ideas 👍🏼
