Arrow upholstery conditioner??

My car has vinyl seats that have been dyed at some point. They feel stiff & make a crinkling sound when pressed. I feel like they may be "brittle" (? looking for right word) and perhaps prone to crack when used. Eventually we'll want to re-upholster, but is there some kind of vinyl treatment that we can use until then to preserve what we have?

Thanks for any feedback.

This stuff is outstanding:

Amazon.com: Blue Magic 850 Leather Cream Conditioner - 16 fl. oz.: Automotive

Amazon.com: Blue Magic 800 Leather & Vinyl Cleaner - 16 fl. oz.: Automotive Amazon.com: Blue Magic 800 Leather & Vinyl Cleaner - 16 fl. oz.: Automotive

I bought this stuff because it was on sale and really cheap at Orillys... Then i used it on the vinyl seat in my old 53 chevy truck after we brought it home from oregon.
The truck had sat in eastern oregon heat and sun for 25 years and was hard and crispy. lower cover had been replaced, upper cover was still original...

I cleaned it with simple green twice... then the vinyl cleaner twice, then the conditioner (conditioner goes on then buffs off). I kid you not, that vinyl was nice and soft like new again when i was done.

I swear by the stuff now.

Not trying to switch you, but Lexol leather conditioner is excellent also. I have used it on 3 Sets of leather furniture in my home for over 20 years and never had one to become dry or split. I treat them about every 2 months, and use it on my cars too. The one liter bottle will last a long time and is about $15.
I do agree that other products made by Blue Magic always seemed good!

I've been using Tuff Stuff for years, I may have to give Ben's suggestion a try.
