Bucket or bench

How can I find out if my car came with bucket or bench seats? Right now it has bucket but not sure if they are original. It's a 69 cutlass S, the guy I bought it from found it Ten years ago and got it from a guy who was trying to clone it(442). So he put a B&M shifter on the floor?? Instead of four speed, not sure if he replaced the bench with buckets..

The trim tag code on the cowl will tell you what the interior the car left the factory with.

The trim tag is located under the hood, on the cowl, driver side. Depending on interior color, the "TR" code will be 950 (black), 953 (blue), or 957 (parchment) if your car originally came with a bench seat. For bucket seats, and again depending on color, the "TR" code will be 940 (black), 944 (willow gold), 943 (blue), 947 (parchment), 945 (garnet) or 949 (teal).

Post a picture of your trim tag and folks here will tell you what it says!
