Rear seatbelt length?

Hi, I am looking to reinstall my rear seat-belts in my 71 cutlass convertible. The set that came with the car was mismatched so I gathered the seat-belts I accumulated and I found I have two different sized sets. The first set has the total length of 33 1/2 inches the second set has a total length of 40 inches. Which of the two sets is the proper ones to install as the rear seat-belts in my convertible?

I have been going through a similar process with my 71 442 hardtop. I am missing the center set for the front bench seat and have been studying the numbers and lengths. I have measured mine individually, but for the rear in the hardtop, the male ends are 22 inches from buckle end to the metal mounting end. The female section is 34 inches with the belt maxed out in length, including the buckle. The number on the belts is 1912, for the deluxe belt system, if you have Hamill belts. There is also another belt manufacturer. I'd be curious if you are able to match up with these measurements. Of course, this is only possible if there isn't any difference between the hardtop and convertible.
Do you expect to have any extra belts you may not need?

Speaking on the female buckles
Fronts = 38"
Rears = 32"
I do not think there is a difference conv. to hardtop

Males are also different front and rear , longer in front (if you have a bench)

Thank you, I'll go with the shorter of the two sets.
