Seatbelt Question

Were 68-72 all the same??? I have a 68, theres a set from a 71 for sale here for $100 that i wanna buy but I wanted to make sure they were the same first!!!

No, there not all the same, There were different style that were avaliable for those years.

They'll fit, look the same to anybody who doesn't know the difference. They both have the GM logo on the release button the middle of the buckle, plastic or steel buckles, Deluxe are brushed steel.
The buckle release button opening is different starting in '69 if you're going for perfectly correct, the date code tags will obviously be wrong too.
Should have shoulder belts starting in '68 too.
If that set is good it's a deal.
The sun tears them up worse than anything, I have a black set from my Vista but it was a California car and the webbing is really faded , even the shoulder harnesses. I was lucky and a matching Deluxe set in blue came with the car.
The parts that came with the car were the best part.

FYI The date code Blue is referring to is just a piece of white cloth sewn on the belt.
