Power door lock question

I was searching ebay for power locks for my 71 and see this listing showing a kit that its the following cars. 70 71 72 73 74 75 76 GTO 442 Skylark Camaro Chevelle Trans Am. Are the locks the same as on the second gen f-body cars? Those would be a lot easier to find at the junkyard.

Also, are there any other cars that use the same trunk release, other than Chevelles, etc?

70 door locks use a different echelon than the 71's and later. I do believe 71 - 76 or 77 are the same switches so it would work fine.

Escutcheon (plate). I know what you meant though.

Yes, switches are the same from 71-77 whether A or B body. Same assemblies for all related years of GM brands.

Downright funny! Yes that's how it's said. I guess they needed more in the parts book than 'doo-hickey, thingamabob, whatsit, youknow or thingy'
