Power Bucket Removal - non operational

4-way Power Strato buckets installed. Seat has Power. Up/Down functions properly. Front/Back does not work and there is a "ratcheting sound" when operated from joystick adjuster. Unfortunately, rear mounting bolts are "blinded" by the seat track.
Is there a way to manually (non-power) move these seats ?
I can see the belt move on the front.
I can see each of the transmission drives (1 for up/down, 1 for front/back ?) spin on the end exposed to the front.
I've stuck a spare cable in the non-op front back and spun with drill, no dice.
IF I go to the excitement of trying to separate the seat from the frame while in the car, do you suspect a
a broken gear in the transmission ?
broken gear drive on the track adjustment ?
rounded off cable (easiest fix as cables can be made to length) ?
Something else ?

Any ideas and notions are welcome to get at the rear mounting bolts .

Power the adjuster all the way up, remove the four seat-to-track bolts and pull the seat out. You might have to use a mirror to see them to get a wrench on. Then you can get at the track to floor bolts. After you repair the problem be sure to clean and lubricate everything before replacing.

X2 on above. Are you permanently removing the power setup or just pulling it to fix it and put it back in? I have a rebuilt 4 way power bucket setup for sale from a 70. I also consider cores on trade in.

Thanks folks. I'll give it a whirl and let u know. I could be interested in a trade. I would like to repair it to working condition since the previous owner put a lot of options on this thing I'd like to keep em all. No build sheet but I don't care, its all such cool stuff boppin down the boulevard.

There is a little plastic cover under the front lower cushion. Take it off- and you will see the drive transmission.

There are two square drive "circles" that the drive cables go into.

put a square drive bit into a drill and turn each of those screws. One will make the seat go backwards and forwards, the other up and down.

Use the drill to move it back far enough to access the bolts for the tracks.

been there done that.
