Legendary worth the wait

I just picked up my Cutlass interior, and wow... better than the original (sticker says "Made America by Americans" you should be proud)!

I'm not ready for paint until spring (still saving up for a compressor and HVLP paint gun) and won't be installing till probably late summer (if i'm lucky)...but the interior work will be the icing on the cake (can't wait).

You may have done this already, but you might want to look the parts over good to make sure everything looks good. Although Legendary understands the time needed in restos and will fix issues long after the purchase date, an issue can cause you to loose time.

I had a hard to see mfg error in my rear 1/4 panels that took them a while to iron out. The issue was that the lines of the wood insets were not lining up to the fronts (1/2" off).
It took 3 weeks and they paid to have my originals shipped there for reference. They actually had to reprogram the machines that laminated them!
For my trouble they transferred my old rails to the new and glued them together and shipped it all back - free of charge!
Excellent service and commitment to quality.

Thanks for the heads up Rob, I haven't had a chance to throughly inspect all items but will heed your advice. At first glance the quality of stitching and materials seemed top notch, some items were from other vendors but were also of good quality. I will be looking for some threads on "hog ringing" the bucket seats and the rear bench.

They make great products. I replaced my front bench seat with their replacement seat cover. Quality is 2nd to none.

I wish they had treated me right for all the wait and issues I had. I"m STILL waiting for the correct rear window sweeps. They received the wrong ones I sent back over a month ago. Yes, it was their fault and they have left me holding the bag too many times now. They make a great product, but their customer service with me leaves a lot to be desired. I'm finally going to go over Cathy's(customer service) head and talk to whoever oversees their whole operation. The sweeps are a vendor item and should not take this long to send out. Hope you have a better experience than I have had. Chumley

Since they did not make the sweeps, the most they can do is refund you. I have heard of a lot of the outer rear repro felts to not have been bent right! I had to modify them to fit...
