hey all, I just bought some used aftermarket buckets for my 72 cutlass. My question is they were in a 66 chevy 2, will those mounting points work or will I need to modify them? My car was originally a bench, so I know 2 holes will need to be drilled and support added. I'm just trying to get a game plan for this weekend so I can be prepared and have anything I need already here. they're not procar seats otherwise I would've ordered the correct mounts.
You will need to weld the bench to bucket inboard conversion brackets to the floor.
As far as if the bolt pattern will match up is anyone's guess, Do the seats line up with the outer bench seat mounting holes? If not you will be fabricating mounts.
If you know the manufacturer of the seats you could get a hold of them to see if they have universal weld-on brackets.
Will b body power bucket seat tracks fit a body seats and in an a body cars ?
What year? The 1966-70 B-body (and E-body) bucket seats are the same frames as used in the A-body cars, but the tracks are completely different and do not interchange.
They will fit on A body and B body seats (not sure about Nova, Camaro, Corvair) but the tracks will not bolt to the A body floor. The mounting pads are different.

Nova, Camaro, Corvair buckets are different from A/B/E body buckets
1968 cutlass is what I'm wanting put it in , they are out of 1969 b body
The seats frames are similar. The seat back release is different from 68-69 which makes the entire upper and lower frame different between the 2 years. 68 covers will fit on the 69 seats and look fine, but you will have to use the center button release in the seat back. You need to get A-body tracks as mentioned above to mount the B-body seats in an A-body.

I'm using a body seats but i can power seat tracks for driver and passer sides
If the power tracks are out of a B-body they will not bolt into your A-body. When you say "get" what do you mean? If they are free or very cheap, 66-72 B-body power seat tracks have value.
For comparison, here are photos of a set of B-body power seat tracks from a 66 Impala I restored for a buddy a few years ago:
Here are A-body tracks I restored for his 442:
As you can see, while much of the track is the same, the feet on the A-body and B-body tracks are completely different.
$400 is a decent price if it is a set of driver and passenger power tracks (like the 66 impala tracks in the first set of photos above) in good shape. If it is just a driver power with manual passenger tracks, that is still okay, but not great. Ether way, they are not going to fit in your car without serious fabrication and modification to the feet.

is there any way to have left and right with the a body power tracks and do you get the belts for them?
B-body cars could be ordered with a power passenger seat, but it was only available as a 2-way track like the first set of photos in post #14. The last shot in the second set of photos in post #14 shows a driver and passenger 4-way track for an A-body, but I made the passenger track by swapping the rear feet on a driver side track and re-wiring the switch to work properly on the passenger side. A passenger side power seat was never an available option on an A-body from the factory.
Here are shots of what I do to make a driver-side track work on the passenger side:

Also, the seat brackets on the floor are different between power and manual seat tracks for an A-body. So, if you install power tracks on both sides, you need to weld power seat mounts to the floor on both sides as well. The power seat mounting brackets are reproduced, so you can buy those new.
I have also used 2-way B-body passenger seat tracks and A-body manual tracks to make 2-Way passenger power seat tracks for an A-body (again something never offered by the factory). I have this set on the passenger side on my 72 holiday coupe.
