How to install door panel carpet insert?

My 68 Cutlass has 8" door panel carpet inserts. The drivers side is missing the carpet and I want to fix that but I am not sure how the carpet connects. I've down replacements on RockAuto for $30. Does it stick with glue? Any idea if its precut?

The carpet will glue to the panel with contact cement.
Choose an automotive grade cement that will withstand high temps...
Try to scape or sand off the original glue residue from your panel and clean it well first.

Not sure if the Rockauto pieces are precut, but even if not, you could make a cardboard template and trim to fit. A sharp razor knife will work best.

If they do not fit (too small), Rockauto has a very good return policy - no risk there.
I think OPG and Legendary sells the carpet inserts also.
