Front kick panels

Attached is a picture of my 67 442 passenger side where I removed the factory A/C heater box. Not-reinstalling it. Should I put something there to cover to hole or put some insulation in the hole or just put the kick panel back on?

Will air blow through that now?
Why not get the kick panel with the vent if it does?
You can get the aftermarket type kick panels with the little speaker that goes up in the corner by that depression in the metal and the little vent door?
How about cutting a big speaker in your kick panels where that big hole is behind it?, cut a door in it and use that space for storage?
