Door panel interchangeability

Does anyone know if the door panel from a 70 cutlass will fit a 72 cutlass? I asked a sales guy from Legendary but he was not sure. I am in the process of changing the color of my interior from saddle to black. I am not a big fan of all the woodgrain on the 72 panels so I was thinking about ordering the 70 panels. I am building a weekend cruiser not a show car. I'm sure I am going to get flamed for this idea.

I am pretty sure they will interchange and physically fit. Door should be the same.
However, if you choose to put S panels on a Supreme, you will not be able to reinstall the door pull straps and not have it look funky...

Exterior panels are the same - doors actually interchange.
Should be the same if they're both manual or power - holes line up!
Difference will be patterns on the panel itself - won't match the rears.
If you get the rears too, only few would know the difference!
I believe the straps will fit, but you may have to drill holes or switch some sheet metal inside[behind] the panel
