May be stupid question but is it ok to use gorilla glue to fix edges of door panels to cardboard? Does it have any adverse effect to vinyl,(eating through it etc)

I'd use 3M Weatherstrip Cement or one of their interior adhesives.

You really don't know how Gorilla Glue will react to the various climate changes your interior is subject to.

Gorilla glue expands. Don't use the 3m 77 spray glue it does not work. I'm looking for something that works in hi heat applications, like vinyl tops or underhood insulations for my next repair on the wifes and kids Mustang door panel trim. I might go back to a brush on type.

I haven't had much luck with the spray on glue. Trying 3M weatherstrip adhesive now. Anybody know of anything that works real good?

3M 8090 for vinyl tops is the best to withstand the high heat a car interior gets. Everything else fails in a TX summer.
