Door inner panel water deflector 66 Cutlass Vert.

66 Fisher Body suggets when replacing inn er water panel between door and door panel to use body caulk and waterproof body tape. Can anyone review this process.
Thanks
Wayne

The easy thing is to use generic strip caulk from the hardware store - it's in the weatherstrip section, not the caulk section. This assumes you're not going for a 1000 point restoration.

Thank you for the info. Any idea about the reference to waterproof tape was all about. Any recomendations from whom to purchase the water panels from.
Thanks

We just tried M-D grey strip caulk from a Home Depot. Not enough stick. Used 3-M strip caulk like Mike said and it worked perfectly.

I did the same . Tried the gray from HD and it wouldnt stick to the body of the car. The 3m stuff is the bees knees.
