Drivers door panel....

Anyone know how to remove the drivers door panel in a 97 Aurora? I have to replace the outside door handle.

If you could tell me where to start or what the steps are to remove the door panel, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks.

There is a small round plastic cover behind the inside door handle...remove that carefully with a small pick or screwdriver and then remove the philips screw in there and then the big oval plastic piece slips off the door handle...I think there are three or four screws along the bottom edge to remove and the the panel should lift up and then tilt inward...there are two big plastic hooks that the panel will rest upon without removing the panel from the door or disconnecting any wiring...try that... the rod link clip is a little awkward to unfasten...
