Does anyone remanufacture 64 interior like this?
this is the interior of my 64 Cutlass, most of the replacement seat covers and door panels don't look anything like this, is it because it's a Sport Coupe?(I've noticed that most door panel sets are for Holiday Coupes,Convertibles, and 4-doors?) Any info. appreciated.-Dan

On the seats, the repop covers I'm used to are all vinyl without the cloth insert. I have a set of blue buckets with the cloth insert in a 1964. Then I have another 1964 and a 1965 with all vinyl. I have a buddy who told me he would help me removed the center vinyl and stitch in a cloth center. Much more comfortable with the thermometer around the 100 degree mark!
Door panels, there's a thread with someone else talking about doorpanels on their 1964. Check out this thread: https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...html#post98829

That's gonna be a cut and stitch job, hopefully by a trimmer who knows what he's doing. To my knowledge no one reproduces the cloth or even Sport Coupe pattern bucket seat covers. And yes, in those days each trim level in each car series had its own upholstery design.
SMS will probably have the correct (expensive) insert fabric, and the bolster vinyl is common-as-dirt GM Madrid smooth grain. Any good trim shop should have it or be able to get it.
If all the door and side panels look that good, I'd scrub 'em good and treat them with a good vinyl dressing. No need to replace anything in that condition. The package tray is same as Chevelle/GTO and readily available as is the carpet.
Amazing to me that back then even low-line trim was nicer colors and designs than today's supposedly "premium" trims. And I am mortally sick of "graphite" or "taupe" interiors. One of the many reasons I refuse to buy a newer vehicle. No style whatsoever.

I owned a 64 F-85 deluxe sports coupe (with V-6) from my grandmother. Of course, same old story, I wish I never sold it........but, I had the same pattern interior except in red. I believe it was F-85 specific (or maybe because it was a F-85 "deluxe") and the Cutlass had the different interior with ribbed seats. I had some panels replaced back in the day by a trim shop, but I don't think anyone repros this - only the Cutlass.

The door panels are in good shape, but the back of the interior is gone(rear window leak). No seat, arm rests, panels, nothing(gone long before I got the car) Can someone post a picture(or 2)of the back interior of a 64 Sport Coupe(what it's supposed to look like)-Thanks Dan

My 64 F-85 has the same pattern except in a bench seat. I contacted SMS Auto Fabrics and they have everything you need. They sent me a sample of the fabric, and vinyl and it was a perfect match. Contact them and I am sure they will have exactly what you need. Here's the link:

Hijack- Alan, have you seen that Fern Mist 1964 Ninety Eight currently on ebay? I think how good it would look parked next to my Fern Mist Starfire... then get your F85 with them for a photo shoot for a trifecta of Fern Mist 1964 Oldsmobiles.
I don't mess with the ones I have and think about another one. Stupid.
64 Cutlass, you may have to get a good used set of rear panels and dye them. I can't find any pics of the rear seat area to even give you an idea.
