does some one know a source for the Vinyl that is used for thermo vacuum forming dashpads ? or how the material is called so i know what to look for.

i have asked justdashes for a quote to do my 1959 dashpad
but a $1350 is a little steep + i have ship it overseas both ways + import taxes so in the end it would be a 2500+ dashpad

justdashes wont sell the vinyl only.

On EBAY look up 1958 Olds Dash Pad. Down below the first listing that's alreadty ended there's one listed new for $200. Buy It Now.They state that they area restorers of 1958 Olds. and have several Dash Pads in stock.Also said they ship worldwide! Sorry Sander, I was looking at your beautiful '58 and did not read well. You might call Glen and see if the place he gets his for 1958's happen to also make them for 1959. He stated that his came from Sweden. Also CTC Auto Ranch (located in Texas )used parts has 3 1959 Olds that they sell parts from (online with pictures) and it looks like 2 of those might have dash pads in the pictures. Larry

 

already contacted CTC a while back but the said they had nothing.
but just found an address for the correct material that can be thermo vacuum formed over the dashpad
