Best Repop Seat Backs and Lower Trim

Wondering what is the best seat back and lower trim repop that is available. I see restoparts brand not sure what else is out there. Also, the piping I see flexible and I see the preformed stuff. Anyway thinking of buying some for my 1968 black strato buckets. Does anyone have any experience with this product. Are there good reproductions available or should I save my money. Thanks Tim

Piping

I suggest getting the preformed piping for the front seat trim. It looks good with a matte silver look. It also fits great, but does require a little trimming at the ends. The flexible stuff does not fit well on the thicker original seat backs, and its super shiny appearance looks out of place IMHO.

The preformed costs more but is worth it. I got mine through The Parts Place, but Ames and other vendors carry it as well.

The rumor mill says the Ames Performance stuff is by far the best. I do not have first hand experience though. But it does appear Ames uniquely sources/manufactures the seat trim.
