Best Convertible Top Brand for 1968 442
What I did was worked with a local well known auto upholstery shop that has been in business for 60 years.
They work with this material all day and know what works. No idea what the brand was but it was high quality with the glass panel.
Legendary sells them. Your upholstery shop might have more pull to get it quicker from them than you will?

That's a hard question to answer. If you are going to have an upholsterer do the job, you should ask that person. Most upholsterers have a preference to what they like to use, to the point that if you present a job for them to do with a top you've already ordered and received and it's a brand the upholsterer doesn't like, most will refuse to install it. Having said that, the two brands the upholsterers liked that I used are Robbins and Kee. I had one that absolutely would not install an Aro brand. But those are individual people. Again, if you are going to use an upholsterer, ask that person what they prefer.

Another thing I recently found out, and that is once you determine the brand you are going to use, order direct from the manufacturer. I always thought you had to buy from a retailer but that's not always the case. My most recent purchase was through Robbins by calling them direct. They have a great customer service department and I had my new top 5 days after ordering it. I'm guessing it saves a few bucks, too!

Thanks for the replies, guess it's time to find a local installer.
Helps to know the pros like Robbins, Electron , or Kee.
Any Denver area installer recommendations?
Thanks Much,
Tony K.
