Steering column

I'm sure this has been asked before but I'll ask again since I'm new. Also I'm not sure if this is the right area to be asking this question.

I found a 73 cutlass with a tilt steering column. I'm wondering if I could put that column in my 70 cutlass. Any electrical issues or other concerns that should know about?

There is an arm for the backdrive linkage that's a different shape between the 69-72 and 73. Yes, this has been discussed in the past and I believe it's not a deal breaker. But would require a modification to use the 1970 linkage with the later column. John

Here's an old post discussing the interchange: https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...t-tilt-124550/
