Who offers best Convertible Top?

Opinions of who is offering the best convertible top. Need 1972 with a glass rear window. Thanks

Electron out of New York does excellent tops.

If you are going to have a professional install it, be sure to ask that person what brand they prefer. I know a upholsterer who won't install certain brands of tops. As well, I had an upholsterer make a top for one of my convertibles. It's a nice top but he used a heavier canvas and a standard boot won't fit over the top of it.

Robbins, Crown, Electron, and Kee are very respected top manufacturers. But as said above, if you are having a professional install it, let the installer choose who they like to work with.

It's all good advice given here. Legendary's tops are Electron tops. No replacement top you buy now is as thick or durable as the original top was.

Kee is the brand the upholsterer I used liked to install. He put it on my '68 and it fit and looks nice. Has the glass rear window as it should.

My installer used a Robbins top. I am very happy with it!

Some professional shops won't warranty a customer's top OR the install thereof, so be sure to ask your installer about that first.

I ran into that when replacing the top on my '72 Cutlass - my shop of choice had their own preferred source for a solid quality product, so ultimately no issue in that regard, but I'm sure I paid more than I might have to source the same or similar top myself. Ultimately wasn't worth the trade-off in warranty concessions to argue though.

Robbins and Electron make the two best tops. As stated above, for warranty purposes let the installing ship supply the top and other parts.
