I've struck out at oldsparts, opgi, and yearone......they all have at least a 6 month waiting period for delivery. I need a 1969 split bench seat cover in parchment color and thought maybe someone knows of a distributor that might have them in stock. Thanks in advance.....you can't see the splits in mine below very well, but they are rapidly enlarging. Ignore the red....I masked it off and highlighted it for fun....

None of those vendors make upholstery, they are just resellers. Have you tried going to an actual upholstery manufacturer like Legendary?
I had a worse problem with my Vista Cruiser. No one even claims to make reproduction seat covers. The Vistas have different patterns than the other models.
I went to a few street rod show and asked around about who did their upholstery work. I picked one that I saw did good work, took my car to him, and got my car back with PERFECT copies of the factory seat covers.
You'll need to get some upholstery samples from by-the-yard sellers and pick a sample that you think matches well. Otherwise, you leave it all to the upholstery artist.
I got my car back sooner than if I had been able to order finished upholstery.
None of the manufacturers quoted me fewer than 9 months, either....that was the two listed earlier in this thread. Thanks for the tips and I'm debating ordering now or trying the custom route mentioned above. VC455, do you think the route you took was significantly more expensive than getting covers (figuring ~800 for the pair, or $500 for a split front bench, which is all I need)?????
At the time, I recalled that the custom charge was within about 20% of the ready-made cost for a Cutlass. But the custom charge included installation, which would be extra with ready-made covers.
Another benefit of the custom covers is that you get to see all sorts of unusual vehicles in the upholstery shop.

Interesting. I will have to remember that whe it comes time to replace the upholstery on my Vista. Who woulda thunk it? Cheaper and installed to boot.
