Bench to buckets - HELP!

Ok, so I'm not really THAT desperate for help. I would like someone that has done this conversion to give me an idea of what needs to happen in order to make it happen. I am going to remove the bench and install the Scat Rallye 1000 bucket seats with a factory console and Hurst NOS shifter.

Question, what do I need to do in order to reinforce the floor pan where the bucket seat will mount? DO I need to reinforce the floor pan?

The car will go off for paint next week and if there is any welding to be done now would be the time. Thanks in advance for you help!

You'll have to buy or make up some floor brackets and weld them to the floor pan, no bracing needed.
This is assuming that those seats you have will bolt to the factory bucket seat mounting points.

This explains the seat deal, has the console stuff too but it's for a Buick so it may be different, seat part should be the same.

Yes. The thin sheet metal floor will eventually fatigue and crack if you don't. DO NOT ask me how I know this...
