Has this happened to any of you guys? I am trying to figure out if they mispacked this or they ACC has the incorrect size. I placed an order for ACC 10226-230 Door Panel Inserts 8" black loop door inserts through RockAuto and this is what they sent me.

I emailed ACC and they said to deal with it with RockAuto. RockAuto will refund me after taking $14 for the shipping. Either way, I don't want to order another set if I will end up with the same thing.

 

Pretty obvious you were sent 2-door pieces.

Bang on ACC until they tell you to your satisfaction that they can supply the correct 4-door pieces. If they can, then it's RockAuto's mistake and they should make everything good. If they can't, no point reordering because you'll just get the same incorrect parts again.

This is just me, but I'd find a local trim shop and have them make the door carpets. Maybe more expensive but aggravation from wrong parts, return shipping and runaround adds up quick.

 

I confirmed it with them before I ordered it but their customer service is pretty clueless. I sent an email earlier today asking them to tell me the measurement of the door panel listed for 68-72 Olds Cutlass and they emailed me back (ACC) telling me its 78"....

Either way, I am just going to send them back and order a yard of loop from ebay and make my own.

 

This proves once again why you have to do your own research. ACC doesn't even make the door panel carpet inserts for a four door. Yeah, they LIST them, but if you look closely, the 2dr and 4dr inserts have the same part number. Clearly this is ACC's mistake. Ask them for the P/N for a 2dr and a 4dr - if they tell you the numbers are the same, point out the error in their logic. FYI, I just checked their listings for Chevelles and they have the same problem there. 2dr and 4dr applications are listed as the same P/N.
