Hi all,

This seems to be a common problem on these models... have seen quite a few cars for sale with a similar issue (see pic below). Just wondering if anyone has experience fixing this and any tips/tricks. I bought a bunch of clamps at Harbor Freight and some JB weld epoxy plastic bonder. Was thinking I would coat the backing plate/steel? and then use the clamps to hold the plastic dash in place until the JB Weld does its thing. Just need to make sure not to get any of the adhesive on the dash itself. Maybe tape/mask off a good chunk of surrounding interior before proceeding. Thoughts?
