71 cutlass s removing stereo - HOW?!

Hi I have a 71 cutlass - has a junk aftermarket radio in it dash not cut. I bought a better stereo which also fits the original dash. What is the best way to do this swap? It doesn't look like there is enough room to squeeze the old one out or the new one in, and I am looking to take apart as little as possible to do this. Can anyone suggest the best way to go about this? Thanks to anyone who may respond - I do appreciate it.

I take out the glove box liner and unfasten it, then lower it to the floor.

If you have A/C, 8 track, or a console, there is more to take apart.

Thanks I was wondering if it could be done from glovebox. I do have a/c too though.
