69 dash help

I've got 2 more things to do (so far that I'm aware of) with the dash in my 69 442..

1. Change the light bulb for the radio. My question with this is simply, how? I've not seen where the bulb is..do I need to pull the glove box and/or dash out?

2. The light/dimmer switch is pretty intermittent. I went ahead and ordered a new one...what is the best way to switch those out?

Thanks.

The radio bulb is in the holder at the end of the white wire under the tape in this photo. That metal holder pries out of the housing and will have the bulb in in.

There's only one way to remove the headlight switch. Remove the ****, unscrew the bezel, and pull the switch out from behind the dash. You need to pull the **** out to the headlights on position, then press and hold the spring loaded button while pulling the **** the rest of the way out. Yeah, you have to contort your arm up under the dash to do that.

Do I need to remove the radio in order to change the bulb, or is there plenty of room to get my hand up in there?

Just for the sake of ease and being able to see what you are doing, I would remove the radio to change the light bulb. A contortionist might be able to pull it off, but it's not that difficult to remove the radio and do it the easy way.
