66 cutlass w/ shoulder belts?

Guys:
I am doing a mojor body off resto and would like to add lap and shoulder belts when finished, a lap belt only scares me! What do I need to get from another newer GM car to make it all work? I would rather use a factory setup if possible>
Thanks RonFX

If the car was built after Feb 66 it will have a hole punched in the cowl tag next to "Body by Fisher" indicating the roof structure has reinforcements for shoulder belts. You can use 67-72 and possibly later belts.

There are several places that sell modern style 3 point retractable belts that use the factory roof mounting point.

Much nicer than the FIXED factory shoulder belt. At least if you like to move around after you are belted in.

Google Androver Restraints & Morris Classic Seat belts.

I've used 3 point belts in my last few classics, and i'm about to install front & rear in my 66 olds. Kid's booster seats require 3points, and my son is now 4 1/2 and is getting to big for his regular car seat. Gotta get them in there so he can keep riding in the car.
