I am curious if the 66 door panels will fit a 65 door. Anyone have both years to look/measure? I am happy with the way my 65 panels look.
Just like the 66 better. Don't care about originality.

I believe they will, but I've not actually tried it.

 

Today at work I trial fitted a 66 Cutlass 2 dr hdtp door panel onto a 65 Cutlass 2dr hdtp and it's a identical match hole for hole.

Awesome thanks! I have some thinking to do. I personally love walking up to a car and seeing it different (but still have the OEM look).

Also thinking about 65 Chevelle seat covers.
Won't that get the uptight crowd riled

 

I put 64 Chevelle weatherstrip in my 64 F-85 wagon, and nobody can tell the difference.
