1970 442 door panel question.
I purchased some new door panels from Legendary Interiors for a 1970 442 hard top. I planned on taking the original hardware off my old door panels and reinstalling them on my new panels.
Not thinking I assumed that the new panels would have the electric window option marked on the back for easy installation. Now I don't have the originals for a reference and am not sure where the window switches mount on the new door panels.
Can anyone help me ?

I believe the electric switches mount in the same spot on each panel as the manual window cranks. You might want to double check this as I don't own a car with power windows but have friends, etc that have them and that's my recollection. Also, one buddy is switching back to manual crank windows on his '70 W-31 and I recall him commenting how the power switch holes on his door panels wouldn't quite be fully covered by the manual cranks but that they were in the same location.
You will need to make sure that the 4-gang switch is positioned correctly left to right before making the cut, as the crank hole is not right in the center.
If you have power locks, do NOT cut out the lock switch perferations until you verify the switch is in the right location. On my panels, the perfs were way off - like an inch diagonal!

Although I have a '72, this thread may help you get those door panels built up!

Although I started with crank windows, I converted to power.
I don't have my Chevelle handy to measure but see attached pics of drivers side panel - it may help you locate it plus the door metal behind had a long slot for the switch to sit in.
The other 3 panels with single switches are all located where the round crank hole is and just need to be squared up with a chisel for the switch.
