64 F85/Cutlass Coupe door panel question

On the door panels/rear quarter panels, does the vinyl fold back behind the fiberboard door panel? Or does it cover all the way up to the window felt? I found one reference photo on the board but it was a custom interior. My car was missing the panes when I got it.

If the vinyl doesn't cover all the way up to the window, what do I do with the excess vinyl beyond the edge of the fiberboard panel?

thnx

Mine is a 65, but I think there the same. i think its like two inches from the top and should have a chrome strip that it tucks under. I can take a better pic in the morning

Cool. Thanks. I figured that was how it went together. Gotta find the trim for the panels though....I told the body shop to paint the top of the doors semigloss black because I figured it was supposed to be painted...
