I was wondering how many others on this forum have ordered one of the "New" reproduction 1964-65 Cutlass dash pads from OPGI? I was quite excited when I saw them listed in their catalog. I ordered one in Oct 2013, and they had an estimated availabilty of Jan 2014. As each month goes by I get a new ETA. First Feb, then Mar, and now Apr 1. The only alternative I know of is to send my original off to Just Dashes and pay the big bucks. A fellow Olds guy here in Lansing sent his dash pad to them. It looks nice, however he told me that when the car sets in the sun, the dash pad develops a big bubble under the vinyl. It goes away when it cools down, he said when he complained, they told him to buy one of those protectors to put in the window to keep the sun out! I sure hope OPGI makes these parts available soon. Not having a dash pad is holding up my interior restoration time frame.
