1968 442 Pinstripe on Lower Dash

I’ve had a couple of 1968 442’s but none of them seemed to have the pinstripe on the dash. Was this standard on 442’s. Was it paint or some kind of decal? Does anyone have any additional info or photos of the dash pinstripe. Just trying to learn.

Thanks Tim

Tim, I know there's been a few discussions about these in the past. Here's one I came up with using the search function. If you have time and want to read some more I entered dash pinstripe.

It was a decal and came standard on the 4-4-2 only. As a decal, over time most of them just lifted or got scraped and were removed. They are somewhat of a bear to put on but, with patience, it can be done! Randy C.
