Height of bucket seat bottoms?

I need a measurement from a '70-72 Cutlass/442 bucket seat car. What is the height of the seat bottom measured from the floor? I'm fitting a pair of late-model BMW convertible seats into my convertible project. The outboard rail of the BMW seats is very near the edge of the seat which pushes the them off-center; the stock Strato seats mount further inboard. To compensate, I've fabricated some seat supports out of 1/8" plate steel which raises the seats enough to center on the steering wheel, but I'm concerned they may be too high. Here's a pic of the measurement I need. Thanks

I have exactly 11 inches from the floor to the bead on the seat bottom. Note, I have dynomat and thick padding under the carpet.
