I'll give you an opinion.
You probably are hoping for more than what most would be willing to give you for it. And that amount it less than what it would be worth in parts.
I will send you my estimate in PM because i would hate to have my opinion taint what you might get for it.

Of course, if that's its carburetor sitting on the trunk lid in the one photo, it's not in driveable condition. That makes it a #5 condition car, which is better than a parts car but needs total restoration, including just some work to get it moving. A #5 condition car has a value of $1980. These are averages, and you car could certainly be worth somewhere between the two values.
The $2000 being asked for by the seller of the one that jensenracing77 knows about sounds about right for your car as well.

Car looks nice on top but certainly rough underneath. If it drives, it's a solid #4 condition car (runs and drives but needs restoration). The Old Cars Price Guide puts the value of a #4 condition 1984 Cutlass Calais 2-door sedan with the Hurst/Olds option at $3,300.

Going to someone looking for THAT car, it COULD go around $2,000 I'd say. But for everyone else, with the body needing repair, the rust, and interior work needed, I think it'd sell in the $1,200 area. At least around here it would. You can get a running, driving, good condition 4cyl or 6cyl car for $500.
I'm not proud, but I used to be the owner of a 1982 Datsun 280ZX. 2-seater, T-tops, straight 6 L28 motor and 5-speed trans. Ran great, drove great. It needed some body work, and needed interior carpet, a dash or cover, and seats. To the right person, it should've sold around $1800-$2000. I had ALOT of people look at this car. But most were just looking for a car. Any car. I had 1 person look at it who knew what this car was and what it was worth, and passed it up as they found another in better condition(for more $). It was actually somewhat comparable to yours, but a bit worse. Sold for $700.
Keep it on the market and be ready to deal with tire kickers wanting to take it for a test drive(then tell you they aren't interested because the seat has some tears). Be patient and you'll get some cash out of it. But you're going to be dealing mostly with people who will look at you as if you're nuts if you list it for what the right person will buy it for.
As for the body work, that depends on if you have it painted or not. Around here, you can't get a door ding taken out for less than $500.

P.S. will you please expain your three shifters?

Im my opinion no. My doors are no better but i dont have to replace the trunk pan or wheel wells.
Not sure it has less miles either. I only have 53k.
Finally go the title in my name just a few weeks ago. DMV hit me up for an extra $20 because i waited a year to title it.
My wife is expecting it on the road for the summer. I gotta get busy.

Well, if you part it out, I'd sure like to have the shifter! Hehehe
The big thing with G-bodies is usually the frame rusting out back behind the rear tires. I have a couple like that now and one 86 Monte Carlo with a solid frame but The rest of the car looks like swiss cheese from about 10 years of AK 47 abuse. Hehehe
If the frame is good I'd keep it. but thats why my Dads farm looks like a junkyard.

I know that this is an old thread, but I am pondering the idea of selling my 1984 Hurst Olds Numbers Matching Factory Sunroof car.
In this market, what would the car be worth. Any opinions are greatly appreciated.

Yea, yours looks a lot better haha. I've seen a couple 84 Hurst get on the market and it seems they have an asking price typically between 6-10k. Here is a link to see what has been on the market.

I don't put price to others properly but in my opinion you will get more money parting out the cat cuz there is a lot of guys looking for parts that are obsoleted. I am obe of them looki.g for a nice center console for my 1983.
