Hi,Joe the carb looks great!! I had Carb Junkys replate mine & heli-coil the inlet but I rebuilt it myself. I was very happy with the outcome.It wasn't cheap but they do great work! I see from your pic they used a thick nylon gasket on the fuel fitting,be careful with that,they can leak! Mine dripped when I fired it up so I used the coated metal one that came in the Napa carb kit that I used & no more leaks.
Car is together again and on the trailer going to Kingsport to reunite with some of its' long lost relatives. Sorry no updates/pics, but was working 12 hour days to finish reassembling it this past week after only finishing (mostly) the 71 Supreme in the last few days. Hope to see some of you there!!
As a follow up to this old thread, I just got back from the OCA Nationals where the car won the Post War R.E. Olds Award and 68-72 Hurst Best In Class Award. We had 6 68's, 3 69's and NO 72's.
